Pre-employment.

On-boarding starts with a conditional letter of offer, criminal background check and/or drug testing and new hire forms.

Orientation & Transition.

The first day should focus on transitioning the new hire hire to your company. It should be welcoming and informative.

A formal new hire orientation is critical. It includes defining the company culture, mission statement and vision. Introduction to the leaders and team. And review policies and handbook.

Training with manager or supervisor. Training action plan that details out training program and timeline for completion.

Train & Retain.
